list of decisions to make when preparing for a child’s birthday

In our family, birthdays are pretty evenly spaced. They happen around here about every 3 months of the year. The next birthday to prepare for is my little Princess Claire who will be turning 3 at the end of May. So though it is a month away, I am now thinking about what I can do to make her special day. . .”special.”

  • What is the birthday budget for gifts, parties, food, entertainment?
  • Will we celebrate on the actual birthday or move the celebration to the weekend?
  • Should we have an intimate family party?
  • Should we invite friends and extended-family?
  • What special activities will we do that day?
  • What special meals would make her birthday special?
  • What gifts has she been wanting?
  • Shall I make or buy a cake?

  • Hello there fellow list lover!

Have you ever read Tom Robbins? In most of his books he gives amazing lists of things he loves (typically). Including the rain (which is one of my favorites).

    Good work.
