list of school supplies to be collecting over the summer

Summer is in full swing now, but Back to School will be here before we know it.  A lot of rushing around and headaches can be saved if we’ll take the time to think about what our child(ren) might need next year and begin to collect supplies so they are ready for their first day.  Take a look at the newspaper circulars for the best sales.  Check out the dollar stores.  Look around online for the things he or she will need.  Get your hands on your school’s supply list for your child’s grade level.  If you are a homeschooling family, take this opportunity to sit down and create a list of the items that you will need for the upcoming school year.  Use ListPlanIt‘s School Supply Shopping List to create a master so you know just how many of everything you have to buy.

  • Zack has to have some odd ones this year. We have been saving egg cartons, toilet paper rolls, and flat pieces of cardboard. Sounds like he is going to have some MAJORLY crafty fun next year. LOL!
