This week, we’ll be focusing on food when planning for summer entertaining.  Whether you are inviting over a neighbor or the neighborhood, having some delicious dishes is always the first step to a successful get-together.

When you are feeding a crowd, it is nice to have dishes that are easy to grab and go.  Unless you are serving a very adventurous group, it is helpful to prepare food that is flavorful without being too exotic.

During the summertime, there are so many more choices for fresh foods.  Just about anything straight out of the garden would be an excellent start.  However, for a little more flair, here are some recipes that might add to your next summer barbecue, potluck, or party.
